Participation can be in different forms:

  • Constructing a Pavilion that exhibits & sells handicrafts, industry & national products & promote the country through governmental institutes.

  • Bring in a Folkloric group/s that presents the country's culture & tradition

  • Set up a restaurant of the country’s’ traditional cuisine &/or franchise

  • Set up a Coffee Shop

  • Build a Kiosk to promote a country or product through advertising materials (brochures, flyers etc.)

The participation in such an event plays a great role in increasing experience in such field & achieves profitable revenues to participants, not to mention, the additional value to of connecting someone’s name to the biggest event Jordan ever witnessed – the Global Village.

Global Village project has proved to be the best summer event that Jordan has ever witnessed.

This Carnival, in its 3rd edition, will be going stronger with more enthusiasm aiming to grow by embracing more & more countries of the world to create a global business center where they exchange trade, exhibit & sell their national products.

What is Global Village?
An annual carnival that takes place during summer in the capital – Amman during July 1st – 31st. This project is solely owned & financed by Ahmad Al-Masri Corporation & fully supported by the Jordanian government.

Global Village is built on an area of 120,000 sqm where it embraces:

  • The world in it, countries pavilions designed in an architectural way reflecting their heritage, folklore & tradition

  • A main theatre that hosts international & national activities

  • Fun fair on an area of 16,000 sqm with most thrilling rides

  • A food court area with great international & traditional cuisines

  • Services for all visitors & participants’ i.e., banks, security, parking…..

 Renting a Pavilion


Participation can be in different forms:

  • Set up a restaurant of the country’s’ traditional cuisine &/or franchise

  • Set up a Coffee Shop

  • Build a Kiosk to promote a country or product through advertising materials (brochures, flyers etc.)

Global Village management allocates a piece of land minimum of 750 sqm prepared with infra structure. The organizer will be responsible to make the architectural design, and construct his pavilion within this allocated space.

The procedures for organizing a Pavilion for a country goes as follows:-

  1. Global Village should receive a letter of Intent from the interested tenant (organizer) which can either be Government (i.e. Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Industry & Trade, and /or Exhibitions & conferences Centers) or Private Sector Company specialized in organizing exhibitions.

  2. Accordingly; Global Village management will provide the organizer with the preliminary approval.

  3. A final approval will be obtained after covering the required down payment & submitting the pavilion designs (which should reflect the heritage of the country he is representing).

  4. GV management will provide the organizer with the Participant Manual.

  5. After submitting the above, an agreement will be signed.

  6. Dead line of Pavilion construction will be May 10th, 2006 to be ready for exhibiting commodities on June 29th 2006.

  7. Opening day will be 1st July 2006.

Renting Fees of Pavilion area:
750 sqm = USD 8,000

 Renting a Restaurant


The tenant will design and construct his own restaurant that reflects his country's heritage
50 sqm = USD 4,000
100 sqm = USD 8,000

 Renting a Kiosk

The tenant will design and construct his own kiosk
6 sqm = USD 3,800
8 sqm = USD 4,200
